Cavalcade of Camellias!

Yesterday my cousin "C" and I went for our weekly outing to Descanso Gardens, which is one of our favorite places to go. It was an absolutely beautiful morning; the sky was clear and blue, and the temperature was in the mid 70s. The camellias right now are absolutely gorgeous! The number of varieties is simply amazing and this is just a sampling of what is there. Descanso is known for their camellias, among so many other things. If you're in the La Canada area, you must go there. It is so much fun to see all the different flowers and plants at different times of the year. You may even see a deer or two as an added bonus!
