I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, whatever it is you'll be doing.
I had originally planned on starting this blog as a journal for my knitting projects. However, since I also have many other interests (making and selling jewelry on Etsy, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, photography, and genealogy (to name a few!), I decided to use it to share those crafty pursuits, along with people, places and things that inspire me. Like me, this is definitely a work in progress!

Positively GORGEOUS roses! Are they from your garden?
A crafting picnic!! Sounds like a faboo idea! Have fun. Be sure to take photos!
Hi Ellen,
Yes, the roses are from my rose garden in the front of my house. There are 23 bushes - I pruned them (phew!) way down this year and they're now blooming like crazy!
I'll try and get some photos of what we're working on tomorrow (I have so many WIPs to choose from!).
What a great idea; a crafting picnic. I love it.
The roses are beautiful!
